The Lake County Health Department will offer flu shots on a walk-in basis, with no appointment necessary, at the Van Dee Medical Building, 18 Eustis Street, Eustis, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 – 11:00 am and 1:00 – 3:00 pm.  Please note the Van Dee Medical office is closed the afternoon of Wednesday, January 9th and Friday, January 25th.

 There is no charge for flu or pneumonia shots with a valid Medicare Part B or Medicare HMO card.  The cost without the card is $25 for Flu and $40 for Pneumonia.

Starting October 22, 2007, the Orange County Health Department will be
providing flu and pneumonia shots on a first come, first serve walk-in basis.

 

Who we are: 

The Central Florida Immunization Coalition is a group of people representing health departments, physicians, hospitals, private healthcare providers, civic organizations, vaccine manufacturers, healthcare insurance companies, schools, parents, and other interested individuals and groups.

Mission Statement:

To improve the health of Central Floridians from birth through adulthood by promoting immunizations that prevent diseases.

In carrying out our mission, CFIC:

  • Provides education to the interested public concerning the role of vaccines in the prevention of diseases.
  • Provides continuing medical education to healthcare providers concerning immunizations.
  • Encourages partnerships that support community immunization opportunities.
  • Helps parents and providers ensure that children are immunized at the appropriate age.
  • Helps providers ensure adults and international travelers are immunized appropriately.
